We are seeking a dynamic and experienced sales leader to drive performance, build high-performing teams, and execute strategic commercial initiatives across a complex and evolving healthcare market.
This individual will play a critical role in shaping field execution, strengthening customer engagement, and ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team of regional sales leaders and field-based professionals, fostering a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative culture
Drive achievement of revenue and performance targets by executing strategic business plans and optimizing resource allocation
Partner with senior leadership to develop and refine commercial strategy, ensuring alignment with market dynamics and organizational priorities
Evaluate market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and proactively adapt field strategy
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and cross-functional partners
Collaborate closely with internal teams such as marketing, market access, operations, finance, and medical to ensure cohesive execution of commercial initiatives
Oversee territory design, resource deployment, and budget management to maximize return on investment
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
Conduct regular field engagement with team members to provide coaching, performance feedback, and development support
Lead talent strategy for the region, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development of top talent
Ensure all field activities are conducted in full compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and industry standards
Contribute to forecasting, financial planning, and long-term business strategy discussions
Support planning and execution of national and regional meetings, including sales meetings and strategic planning sessions
Qualifications
Proven experience leading regional or national sales teams within a highly regulated industry (e.g., biopharma, healthcare, or specialty therapeutics)
Strong track record of driving commercial success and exceeding performance targets
Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop geographically dispersed teams
Experience working cross-functionally with market access, marketing, finance, and medical teams
Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
Experience in complex or specialty product environments preferred
